How fast can I get my sign?
Sign orders ship within 2 weeks of the date the order is placed.

Can I get any color?
Yes. Our Matthews Paint Formula Database contains over 75,000 color formulas and is backed by the industry's most experienced color experts who are willing to accommodate even the most unusual color requests. Our most common colors can be seen here.

How is the Painted Finish applied?
Today we use state-of-the-art HVLP spray painting equipment. First we prep all surfaces by extensive dry and wet sanding. Next all surfaces are wiped clean and then spray coated with a Matthews low VOC primer to provide excellent top coat adhesion. The top coat color is then applied using Matthews acrylic polyurethane (MAP) paint directly to the signage surface. Painted signs are then cured or baked according to paint requirements.

What are the terms of sale?
Terms to customers of established credit rating (Open Account) are Net 30 days. When no credit has been established, orders may be charged to your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or paid by check or ACH. Fees may apply for credit card purchases over $5000. Returns on standard products (1 week delivery items) will gladly be accepted with an RMA number issued by us. Returns must be shipped in original cartons via the best possible carrier, freight prepaid (restocking fee may apply). If an item should arrive damaged, mark the bill of lading as damaged, do not sign, and refuse shipment. Please contact us immediately. All claims for loss or damage must be filed with the common carrier used for shipment. For damaged shipments involving UPS, please retain original packaging and notify us immediately for a RMA number. We will promptly contact UPS and arrange for damage inspection at your location. UPS will return shipments to us after inspection is complete. All products are shipped F.O.B. Erie, PA, via UPS (weight & size permitting) or motor freight unless otherwise requested, directly to you or the location of your choice. Open and inspect all packages for damage prior to accepting delivery; if accepting a damaged package be sure to note damage on BOL. All shipping charges are prepaid or charged to Open Accounts and are subject to additional fees for special requirements, including but not limited to residential delivery and lift gate equipped trucks. Please note you may choose to set up your own shipping using a carrier of your choice.

Is there Tier Pricing or a "volume" discount?
We are a wholesale signage manufacturer with established wholesale pricing driven by our high quality standards and swift lead times. Pricing of larger scale projects are reviewed on a per project basis.

Are all Howard signs custom built to order or are there pre-made signs available?
We do stock an array of signage system components, some of which are precut for standard sign sizes, however each sign is built per order.

What is the warranty?
Our product warranties display our employee's strong commitment to defect free materials and workmanship. 5 Years all products.

How much is it to paint a custom color?
We offer nine standard paint colors free of charge, however if you choose colors beyond the standard nine an additional fee applies. Custom color paint fees vary dependant upon sign system, size and finish.

How much for shipping?
Shipping costs vary with size, weight, destination and value of items being shipped; shipping estimates are available upon request.

How will my sign ship?
Using Common Truck Carrier or UPS/FEDEX; dependant on the size of the sign(s)

Can my sign have a custom top?
Custom tops are available on most of our sign systems and include, but are not limited to: radius, peak, slope and angular profiles.

What are my mounting options?
Depending on the sign system, mounting options include: single post, double post, center post, flag, double flag, corner post, double slotted post, internal post, and wall mount.

Can I get a drawing of what the sign will look like?
We may provide Presentation and/or Technical Drawings dependant upon the signage project.

What is your most economical sign system?
Our most economically priced sign systems are our HED-150, HED-200 and SLMPRO1.

Is installation hardware included with the sign?
No. Due to varying zoning regulations and local ordinances, installation hardware is not included.
